Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Technical Lead (End User Computing) to provide technical leadership and support across enterprise desktop, infrastructure, and end-user computing environments. This role is ideal for candidates with strong troubleshooting skills, Microsoft technologies expertise, and experience managing enterprise IT support operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support End User Computing (EUC) operations across enterprise environments.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, operating systems, and end-user devices.
  • Manage and resolve complex incidents, service requests, and escalations within SLA timelines.
  • Support Windows operating systems, desktop technologies, and Microsoft environments.
  • Administer and manage Active Directory, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Support infrastructure-related projects, system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with network, security, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in technology planning, IT security initiatives, and infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Support acceptance testing, deployment planning, and operational readiness activities.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in procurement activities, including RFP documentation, vendor evaluation, and implementation support.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to service desk and support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management processes.

Requirements

  • 8–15 years of experience in Desktop Support, EUC Support, IT Infrastructure Support, or Service Desk environments.
  • Strong experience supporting:
  • Windows 7 / Windows 10 / Windows 11
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy Management (GPO)
  • Hardware & Software Troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting enterprise end-user computing environments.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and firewall concepts.
  • Experience handling incident management, problem management, and change management activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working across the full project lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in 24x7 shift environments and supporting critical incidents outside business hours.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
