Biomedical Science jobs in Selangor

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology / Biomedical Science / Molecular Biology / Life Sciences or a related field
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken)
• Strong technical competency in tissue culture, animal research support, laboratory instrumentation and biosafety
• Minimum 1-2 years of laboratory experience in research or academic environment, preferably involving tissue culture, molecular / cellular biology or biomedical research support

Job Description:

• Manage research laboratory operations, including animal research, tissue culture and related postgraduate facilities
• Provide technical support for research demonstrations, practical training sessions and workshops involving biological, cellular and animal-based experiments
• Oversee calibration, maintenance and validation of laboratory instruments and equipment
• Coordinate daily operations of laboratories including animal facility, tissue culture lab and shared research spaces
• Conduct routine audits, risk assessments and safety inspections to ensure compliance with biosafety standards
• Develop, review and update SOPs for animal handling, tissue culture, and laboratory procedures
• Supervise and train postgraduate students, researchers and laboratory assistants in laboratory techniques and safety practices
• Provide general laboratory administration and institutional support
• Any other tasks and duties as assigned by the University from time to time

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
