Full job description

Shiobee is a French-Korean fusion café in Seksyen 12, Petaling Jaya, specializing in handcrafted pastries and artisanal bakes. Best known for our signature Shiopan (Japanese-Korean salted butter roll), we are committed to quality, creativity, and delivering a warm, memorable café experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and baking bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and company standards.
  • Measure, mix, proof, shape, and bake dough under the guidance of the senior baker or supervisor.
  • Prepare ingredients and support daily production.
  • Maintain consistency in product quality and presentation.
  • Pack, label, and store baked products properly.
  • Clean and sanitize baking equipment, kitchen areas, and workstations.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs at all times.
  • Replenish ingredients and report low stock to the supervisor.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties based on assigned shifts.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent (preferred).
  • No experience required; training will be provided. Previous baking, pastry, or F&B experience is an advantage.
  • Students and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Passion for baking and willingness to learn.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift baking ingredients when required.
  • Mandarin Speaking is advantage.
  • Malaysian only.

Pay: RM11.00 per hour
