Brew Crew Opportunity

Our Global Brew Crew is seeking a Retail Cafe Manager to help deliver a world-class coffee and tea experience. As a member of our Malaysia Brew Crew, you will have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.

You will enter our famous ‘Barista Academy’ from your very first day and develop expertise in the craft of coffee and tea, gaining valuable career skills — Your development is our priority.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in:

· Coordinating with various contractors and vendors including internal stakeholders.

· Managing the Local Authorities requirement on fit-out plan and design matters for any new / renovation project.

· Coordinating with current or new Architect on site fit-out works for Building Plan (BP) submission to Local Authorities.

· Managing site fit-out works (or reinstatement works) to ensure it is accordance with project timeline, budget and approved drawings including regular site inspections.

· Handling of utility meter installation and termination with relevant utility provider to ensure proper functionality i.e. Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), State Water Meter Provider (Air Selangor, Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan, Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang and etc).

· Handling of new outlet’s internet/telephone application to the relevant local authority (Telekom Malaysia).

· Escalating proposed changes to cost or timescale beyond contractual levels and checking for possible effects on the Business Cases.

· Preparing monthly project reports to ensure risks and issues are being tracked and mitigated/resolved and financial tracking on expenditure levels

· Coordinating weekly project and post project review meetings to ensure benefits are realized with internal and external stakeholders.

· Being a liaison officer between internal and external stakeholders.

· To undertake any works related to projects assigned as and when required by superior or Project Leaders from time to time.

Your Ingredients

· Candidate with at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction/Development or equivalent.

· 2-3 years of working experience in project management field.

· Possess experience in dealing with Local Authorities i.e. City Councils, TNB, SYABAS etc. will be an added advantage.

· Well versed in project arbitrage cycle.

· Good written and oral communication skills in English and ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.

· PC literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office Appliances.

· Willing to travel regularly across project sites.

· Self-motivated with a strong drive and ability to work with minimum supervision.

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and decision-making.
