Full job description

JUNIOR BARISTA / CAFE CREW

Location: Koffie Lane, Kajang
Position: Full-Time

Koffie Lane is looking for an energetic, responsible and customer-friendly Junior Barista / Cafe Crew to join our Kajang team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare coffee, espresso-based beverages and other café drinks according to Koffie Lane SOP and recipes.
  • Operate espresso machine, coffee grinder and other bar equipment.
  • Perform basic espresso extraction and milk steaming.
  • Prepare non-coffee beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Ensure drinks are prepared consistently in terms of taste, portion and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times.
  • Perform daily opening, closing and cleaning duties.
  • Monitor bar ingredients, packaging and daily stock levels.
  • Refill and prepare ingredients before they run out during operation.
  • Assist with cashier/POS and customer service when required.
  • Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and company SOP.
  • Work closely with other front-of-house crew during busy periods.

Requirements

  • Basic barista or café experience is preferred.
  • Fresh candidates with strong interest in coffee are welcome to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of espresso machines and milk steaming is an advantage.
  • Good personal hygiene and cleanliness are essential.
  • Friendly, presentable and comfortable communicating with customers.
  • Disciplined, punctual and responsible.
  • Able to follow recipes and SOP consistently.
  • Able to work efficiently during peak hours.
  • Positive attitude and good teamwork.
  • Willing to learn and accept feedback.
  • Willing to work weekends and public holidays according to schedule.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
