Full job description

The Ticketing & Entertainment Staff is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while ensuring smooth daily ticketing and guest entertainment operations. This role welcomes visitors, processes ticket sales, verifies online bookings, handles cash and electronic payments, and provides accurate information about attractions, activities, events, and park facilities. The staff also assists with entertainment programmes, crowd control, guest engagement activities, and special events to create a fun and memorable experience for all visitors. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate sales records, operating the POS system, keeping the ticketing area clean and organized, promoting current packages and membership programmes, and resolving guest enquiries professionally. The Ticketing & Entertainment Staff is expected to work closely with the Operations team, comply with company SOPs, health and safety standards, and maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude at all times. Additional duties may be assigned by Management to support daily operational and entertainment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Sell admission tickets and process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
  • Verify online bookings, vouchers, memberships, and promotional tickets.
  • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently.
  • Provide guests with accurate information about attractions, operating hours, shows, events, and facilities.
  • Assist guests with directions and general enquiries.
  • Support entertainment programmes, performances, games, and special events.
  • Encourage guest participation in activities and ensure a positive visitor experience.
  • Assist with crowd control and queue management during peak periods.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Promote current promotions, ticket packages, memberships, and seasonal events.
  • Maintain accurate daily sales and cash reconciliation records.
  • Ensure the ticketing counter, entrance area, and guest service stations are clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Follow all company SOPs, safety procedures, and operational standards.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

RequirementsEducation

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, tourism, theme parks, attractions, or entertainment is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.
  • Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
  • Good cash handling skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude with willingness to learn.

Language

  • Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.

Working Requirements

  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and during peak seasons.
  • Able to stand for long hours and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
