A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while providing excellent customer service. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, handling customer orders, and ensuring a pleasant cafe experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages
  • Operate coffee machines and cafe equipment properly
  • Take customer orders and recommend menu items
  • Ensure beverage quality and presentation meet cafe standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and working area
  • Handle cashier and payment transactions when needed
  • Monitor stock levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and SOP guidelines
  • Support cafe operations during busy hours
  • Assist in creating new beverage ideas or seasonal drinks

Requirements / Skills

  • Experience as a Barista is an advantage
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation and latte art is preferred
  • Friendly and customer-oriented personality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible, punctual, and hardworking
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
