Full job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the daily café kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Prepare high-quality local and Western ala-carte dishes according to company standards.
- Ensure consistency in food taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety standards.
- Manage food preparation, stock control, and minimise wastage.
- Lead and guide kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist in menu improvement and other kitchen-related activities as required.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Chef / Cook in café, restaurant, hotel, or similar food service environment.
- Skilled in preparing local and Western cuisine.
- Able to work independently and manage café kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
