Full job description

Our cafe is looking to hire a chef ASAP. This is an excellent position for someone who is looking to step up in to the role. Suits someone who has worked as a chef for at least 3 years. Needs to be available immediately.

Location in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Manage kitchen staff, training and guiding.
  • Control inventory and food costs.
  • Managing daily MEP and ensure sufficient stocks for daily operations.
  • Setting up workstation according to SOP.
  • Proactively R&D new menu and drive food tasting.
  • Maintain good hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Create and maintain positive working environment.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Leading the kitchen team and a great team player.
  • Willing to learn and taking on responsibility to grow.
