Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern preferably someone pursuing Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical Degree to assist our Engineer in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of critical oil and gas assets. Asset Integrity refers to the systematic approach of maintaining pipelines, pressure systems, structures, and equipment so they perform their required function effectively, safely, and in compliance with industry standards throughout their lifecycle. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in integrity management, inspection planning, and data analysis, while providing exposure to real-world engineering practices in the oil and gas industry.

As an Engineering Intern, you will:

  • Assist the Senior Engineer in monitoring the condition and performance of pipelines, structures, and pressure equipment.
  • Support in preparing inspection reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments.
  • Review drawings and P&IDs, and prepare mark-ups for engineers as required.
  • Collect, organize, clean up, and analyze integrity-related data from field inspections and monitoring systems.
  • Participate in reviewing inspection findings and supporting recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Help update asset registers, drawings, and integrity management databases.
  • Conduct research on industry codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements during integrity-related work.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
