Management Trainee – F&B Operations

Location: Kuala Lumpur
Salary: RM4,000 per month (RM4,500 upon confirmation)

Job Overview

On behalf of our client, we are looking for motivated individuals to join as a Management Trainee – F&B Operations.

This role is designed for fresh graduates and early-career candidates who are passionate about building a career in restaurant operations. You will gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day running of a restaurant, working directly on the floor across both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations.

This is a hands-on operational role, where you will work alongside the restaurant team while developing practical operational, customer service, team management, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and participate directly in daily restaurant operations across both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH).
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Assist with food preparation, service, order handling, and other operational duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
• Support daily opening and closing procedures and ensure smooth shift operations.
• Assist with inventory management, stock control, and minimizing operational wastage.
• Work closely with supervisors and restaurant team members to achieve service and operational targets.
• Handle customer feedback and support the resolution of service-related issues.
• Develop practical leadership and team management skills through hands-on restaurant operations.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and restaurant operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must have prior restaurant/F&B experience; internship or part-time experience is accepted.
• Strong interest in developing a long-term career in restaurant operations.
• Willing to work hands-on on the restaurant floor in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically active restaurant environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership potential.
• Customer-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Arrangement & Benefits

• Salary: RM4,000 per month
• Upon Confirmation: RM4,500 per month
• Working Schedule: Shift-based, according to restaurant operational requirements
• Rest Days: 6 days off per month
• Candidates must be available to work weekends and public holidays based on the assigned roster.
• Work Arrangement: Fully onsite and hands-on in restaurant operations
• Location: Kuala Lumpur
