KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests with seating and provide menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Explain menu items and recommend dishes when required.
• Serve food and beverages promptly according to restaurant standards.
• Ensure guests receive good service throughout their dining experience.
• Clear and reset tables after guests leave.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining and service areas.
• Ensure tables, cutlery, crockery, condiments and service stations are properly prepared.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are served correctly and on time.
• Assist with takeaway and packing orders when required.
• Assist with cashiering and payment collection when assigned.
• Replenish cutlery, condiments, tissues and other restaurant supplies.
• Follow all restaurant SOPs, food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Handle basic customer enquiries and refer complaints to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Work closely with other F&B team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Maintain proper grooming, uniform and personal hygiene standards.
• Attend staff briefings and training as required.
• Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Previous F&B or restaurant experience is an advantage.
• Fresh candidates with a positive attitude may also be considered.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Able to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of Chinese cuisine and/or ability to communicate in Mandarin or other Chinese dialects is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
