Be part of clinical trials that brings life-changing treatment to patients across Malaysia and beyond. You will have the opportunity to develop as a professional CRA while contributing to the development of innovative treatments that impact millions of patients worldwide.
Your New Role
The role of the CRA is ensuring successful execution of clinical trials from site selection through to study closure. You'll be at the frontline of clinical operations, managing site relationships and ensuring every trial meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and patient safety—work that directly impacts patients living with serious chronic diseases.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conduction and closing activities of the appointed studies in compliance with local regulations, International Conference on Harmonization-Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), company procedures, and protocol requirements to ensure data quality and study subject protection.
You will manage the recruitment at the country/ site level and thereby deliver results that have a direct impact on the successful completion of the clinical program.
Ensuring patient safety and data integrity by monitoring site data, resolving discrepancies, and handling adverse events in accordance with regulatory requirements.
You partner with the Project Manager and report on their progress and critical issues that may impair trial success.
Your New Department
You will be part of Clinical Development Centre Team, responsible for executing clinical studies that bring innovative therapies from trial phase to patients. In Clinical, we focus on ensuring that every study is conducted with the highest standards of quality, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
As a CRA in our team in Malaysia, you will work directly with research sites and collaborate with global multifunctional teams, contributing to studies that advance treatments for serious chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity, cardiometabolic and rare disorders. You will have access to mentorship from experienced CRAs and continuous learning opportunities to support your professional growth.
Your skills and qualifications
We're looking for a Clinical Research Associate who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to the highest standards of clinical research excellence. You'll bring with you:
A degree in Medicine, Biology, Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, or another equivalent.
You have a minimum of 2 years’ solid operational experience in clinical development as Clinical Research Associate.
Excellent interpersonal skills and good project management skills to achieve the success of assigned clinical trials. A good knowledge of ICH-GCP, local requirements, and Novo Nordisk SOPs.
Proactive communication both internally and externally, with the ability to adapt and manage changes across multiple clinical trials.
You are required to travel within Malaysia and potentially Singapore and Thailand if required.
Fluency in both English (verbal and written) and Bahasa Malaysia.
