Full job description
Our clients are leading players in the global financial services market. They're hiring Business Analysts to support the strategy and transformation works.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Engineering & Documentation: Lead structural discovery sessions, workshops, and client interviews to extract and translate complex business needs into precise functional specifications, user stories, and system architecture rules.
- Process Optimization & Gap Analysis: Evaluate existing workflows, controls, and technical frameworks to identify operational gaps, mapping out optimized future-state business processes and system designs.
- Technical & Development Liaison: Act as the core bridge between business units and the engineering team, providing explicit clarifications on custom development needs and documenting software defects for resolution.
- Consulting Deliverables & Executive Communication: Author high-value project artifacts, including business cases, consulting reports, transformation proposals, and strategic client presentations.
- Quality Assurance & Execution Support: Support the broader project lifecycle by assisting with basic implementation roadmaps, workflow scripting, and stepping in to facilitate Quality Assurance (QA) testing when required.
- Asset & Knowledge Generation: Package project insights into scalable, reusable intellectual capital, establishing standard frameworks, methodologies, and blueprints for future client deployments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant disciplines
- At least 3 years' experience in business analysis, with domain knowledge (project experience) in Financial Services/Insurance
- Familiar with Agile & Waterfall methodologies
- Fluency in English is a must. Mandarin capability is a strong plus
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM80,000.00 - RM200,000.00 per year
