Contract Restaurant Manager jobs

Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and results-driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead our Food & Beverage operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence, revenue growth, cost control, and team development across all F&B outlets and banquet operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, banquet functions, room service, and other related operations.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest service, food quality, hygiene, and operational excellence are consistently maintained.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and productivity.
• Analyse sales performance and recommend initiatives to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and other department heads to enhance menu offerings, promotions, and guest experiences.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop the Food & Beverage team to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training and development needs.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, and stock control to minimise wastage and optimise costs.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and hotel policies are effectively implemented and adhered to.
• Prepare departmental reports, business plans, and management presentations as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' managerial experience in Food & Beverage operations within a reputable hotel.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant, banquet, room service, and bar operations.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of hotel and POS systems is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
