Full job description

Position Summary

1) The engineer is responsible for leading a team of about 5 to 10 people which consists of supervisors, electricians, helpers. And lead this team to take care all electrical equipment in either of Meltshop/CCM or rolling mill.

2) He must be able to communicate in English, Malay, and Chinese (frequent communicating language even in meeting) as the electrical Team is consists of Local Malay/Indian, China Chinese, Thailand, Philippine, Bangladesh, Nepal.

3) Candidate shall have at least 1 to 2 years maintenance experience in industry maintenance is added advantage, fresh graduated from Degree in engineering is encouraged to apply.

4) Candidate have basic knowledge in electrical power, can read some electrical drawing.

Responsibilities:

1) To plan/coordinate Preventive Maintenance for all electrical machineries in respective area either Meltshop or rolling mill.

2) To analyse/attend electrical breakdown, plan and execute for corrective/preventive action for the breakdown to prevent the reoccurrence.

3) To study, design and execute any improvement activities/ project assigned/requested by electrical head or ideas from others.

4) To make recommendation on the possibility of machineries and equipment improvement and upgrading in order to prevent production downtime.

5) To ensure to achieve targeted KPI such as downtime, spare parts inventory, ISO documentation, PM jobs.

6) To Promote quality and safety awareness and responsibilities among members of the department.

7) To Ensure that the Company Quality System Procedures, Work Instruction, documentation are well updated and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO45001, ISO50001 in respective in -charged area.

8) To Ensure electrical spare parts inventory, availability of critical spare parts for respective in-charged area.

9) To manage the in-charged respective area supervisors/technicians duty and KPI.

10) To plan/execute/implement tasks assigned from the superiors.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
