Full job description

Acquire Group Asia is looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic individual to support our education sales team.

We work with schools across Malaysia, providing Scholastic books for school libraries, organising school book fairs, operating Book Club programmes, and introducing educational initiatives such as our Hamster Club Programme.

This is an administrative coordination role. No sales experience is required, and no selling is involved. You will help our sales team stay organised by coordinating appointments, preparing materials, and following up after meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Contact schools to arrange appointments between our sales team and school principals or administrators.
  • Conduct online research on schools, international schools and kindergarten chains.
  • Prepare presentation materials, marketing documents and meeting files.
  • Draft follow-up emails after meetings based on updates provided by the sales team.
  • Coordinate information, schedules and task follow-ups between the sales team and management.
  • Assist with other administrative and coordination tasks when required.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Able to communicate confidently in English (spoken and written).
  • Friendly, polite and professional when communicating with schools.
  • Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Responsible and able to work independently from home.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Willing to learn. No previous experience is necessary.

Working Arrangement

  • Mainly work from home.
  • Flexible working schedule.
  • Most work is carried out on weekdays between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm, although you may arrange your own schedule within this period to complete assigned tasks.
  • Approximately 5 working hours per week.
  • Occasionally, unfinished tasks may need to be completed outside these hours to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Attend in-person or online meetings approximately twice per week, or when required.
  • Respond to WhatsApp messages from the team as needed.

Trial Period

  • Trial period: 2 weeks (may be extended if required).
  • Trial allowance: RM50 per week.
  • Upon successful completion of the trial, a longer-term arrangement and remuneration will be discussed based on performance and responsibilities.
