Full job description

JLG Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of JLG Investment Holdings Sdn Bhd, is looking for an experienced and visionary leader to head our JV, JLG & BP Design Sdn Bhd business operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple designs and build projects from inception to completion, developing and overseeing project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate designers, contractors, and suppliers to meet specifications, and implement project management methodologies and best practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee daily operations and manage the operational team to ensure efficient project execution and monitor project schedules, identify resource bottlenecks, and provide proactive solutions to maintain productivity and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee vendor and sub-consultant management for outsourced services such as drafting or technical detailing.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance productivity and quality, monitor and control operational costs to stay within budget while maximizing profitability, and continuously evaluate and improve processes for ongoing operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards, implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and design, and conduct regular project reviews and audits to identify and address any issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED AP (if applicable to the firm’s services) will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of working experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership or operational management role within the design consultancy, architectural, or property development industry.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, design operations, and resource planning across concurrent projects.
  • Sound knowledge of architectural project lifecycles, design processes, and construction coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management and design tools (e.g. MS Project, Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, ERP systems).
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, project costing, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Pay: RM18,600.00 - RM43,700.00 per month
