Full job description
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing Nuclear Medicine procedures and treatments.
- Assist in patient assessment, preparation, monitoring and post-procedure care.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures in accordance with established policies and protocols.
- Educate patients on procedures, treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control and radiation safety requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Radiology, Day Care or hospital-based nursing would be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and able to work independently in a locum capacity.
- Locum opportunity available for Registered Nurses with hospital-based clinical experience. Exposure in Nuclear Medicine, Oncology or Radiology is an added advantage.
