We are a fast-growing health & wellness and beauty retail company headquartered in Johor Bahru, with 20+ outlets across Malaysia.

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced HR Manager based at HQ in Johor Bahru who will play a key role in supporting both HQ and multi-outlet HR operations within a dynamic retail environment.

Role Summary

The HR Manager, based in HQ Johor Bahru, is responsible for overseeing full-spectrum HR operations across HQ and 20+ retail outlets, ensuring consistent execution of HR policies, workforce planning, and employee management across HQ and all outlets

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations (HQ-Based Management)

  • Oversee end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook
  • Ensure consistent HR practices across HQ and all retail outlets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation

2. Workforce Planning & Outlet Support

  • Support manpower planning and staffing coordination across 20+ outlets
  • Work closely with outlet managers to understand staffing needs and provide HR support
  • Monitor workforce distribution and support efficient manpower allocation across locations
  • Ensure timely coordination of recruitment needs for retail operations

3. Talent & People Management

  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters and conflict resolution
  • Support performance management processes including KPI tracking and appraisal cycles
  • Support employee engagement and internal communication initiatives across HQ and outlets
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives to support talent attraction in a multi-outlet retail environment

4. HR Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and internal HR policies
  • Strengthen employment contracts, documentation standards, and HR governance processes
  • Support risk control and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures

5. HR Systems & Process Improvement

  • Standardize HR processes across HQ and all outlets
  • Improve HR workflows, reporting, and documentation systems
  • Support HR digitalization and system enhancement initiatives

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field

· 5–8 years HR experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role

· Experience in retail, beauty, or wellness industry preferred

· Experience in multi-outlet or branch-based operations is essential

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-outlet retail environment

· Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office

· Fluent in Mandarin and English

· Experience in HR process improvement, system implementation, workforce planning, or employee engagement is an added advantage

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
