Halal Executive

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the company’s Halal compliance for outlets, Central Kitchen and related operations.
  • Ensure all ingredients, products, suppliers and operational processes comply with Halal requirements and company SOPs.
  • Prepare, maintain and update Halal-related documents, records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with Halal certification applications, renewals and related documentation.
  • Conduct regular internal Halal inspections and compliance checks.
  • Monitor ingredient changes, new products and new suppliers before implementation.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Central Kitchen, Operations and outlet teams on Halal-related matters.
  • Conduct Halal awareness and compliance training for employees.
  • Follow up on corrective actions for any Halal non-compliance issues.
  • Assist during Halal audits and inspections by relevant authorities.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, preparation and segregation of Halal materials and products.
  • Maintain accurate records for audit and certification purposes.
  • Perform any other Halal-related duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Halal compliance, Halal certification or the F&B industry is preferred.
  • Familiar with Halal documentation, internal audits and compliance procedures.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and follow up on multiple outlets or departments.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible and well-organised.
  • Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia,English and/or Chinese will be an added advantage.
  • Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to different outlets when required.

Pay: From RM3,200.00 per month
