Restaurant Crew (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Positions Available: Waiter / Waitress, Barista & Kitchen Crew

About Us

DON Western & Grill is an established Halal Western & Grill restaurant located in the heart of George Town, Penang, operating since 2021.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate, responsible and motivated individuals to join our restaurant team.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

  • Waiter / Waitress (Service Crew)
  • Barista (Beverage Crew)
  • Kitchen Crew (Food Preparation & Cooking)

We welcome both experienced applicants and fresh candidates who are interested in building a career in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Waiter / Waitress (Service Crew)

  • Greet and welcome customers professionally.
  • Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper dining area arrangements.
  • Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures.
  • Handle customer enquiries and requests professionally.

2. Barista (Beverage Crew)

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages according to company standards.
  • Maintain beverage quality, consistency and presentation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the beverage preparation area.
  • Monitor beverage ingredients, stock levels and daily preparation.
  • Maintain and clean beverage equipment.
  • Support front-of-house operations when required.

3. Kitchen Crew

  • Assist with food preparation, cooking and plating.
  • Follow standard recipes, portion control and food quality guidelines.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Assist with ingredient preparation and stock organisation.
  • Ensure food is prepared efficiently and consistently.
  • Support kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Job Requirements

  • Malaysian citizens are encouraged to apply.
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
  • Fresh graduates, school leavers and applicants without experience are welcome.
  • Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Previous experience in F&B, hospitality or restaurant operations is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, good discipline and willingness to learn.
  • Responsible, hardworking, punctual and able to work in a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Willing to follow company SOP

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
