Full job description
1. Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) inspections of raw materials, chemicals, components, and gas cylinders.
2. Perform Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspections for finished products prior to release.
3. Ensure all inspections comply with company quality management system (QMS), safety requirements, and applicable customer and government regulations.
4. Accurately complete and update inspection records, checklists, and related quality documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and traceability.
5. Identify, segregate, and label non-conforming materials or products, and report abnormalities to the Quality Engineer in a timely manner.
6. Handle hazardous materials and gas cylinders safely according to standard operating procedures, storage guidelines, and safety protocols.
7. Conduct visual inspections, quantity verification, labelling checks, and documentation review for all incoming and outgoing materials.
8. Monitor and record critical quality parameters of materials and products as per inspection plans.
9. Assist in investigation of quality issues or non-conforming materials.
10. Support calibration or verification of inspection tools and measuring equipment as required.
11. Receive on-the-job training in safe handling of cylinders, chemical safety, and inspection procedures.
12. Ensure inspection and storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
13. Maintain proper segregation and storage of raw materials, chemicals, and gas cylinders.
14. Report any unsafe conditions or storage concerns to the Quality Engineer/Manager immediately.
15. Coordinate with Warehouse, Laboratory and Supply Chain teams to support quality-related activities.
16. Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) by preparing inspection records and assisting as needed.
17. Complete daily, weekly, and ad-hoc inspection tasks independently or as part of a team.
18. Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.
