Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT Manager to oversee and manage the company's IT operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure while supporting business objectives through effective technology solutions.

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage IT projects, vendors, and support services in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships and procurement activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including backup systems and contingency measures
• Monitor network and system security, implementing protective measures against cyber threats and data breaches
• Assess technology needs across the organization and recommend solutions that support strategic business goals.
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders on IT matters and emerging technologies.
• Manage IT projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes (if any and from time-to-time basis).
• Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations and processes for compliance and operational purposes.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Entra ID, including user access, licensing, configuration and service health.
• Manage endpoint devices throughout their lifecycle, including centralized asset management, device enrollment, configuration, software deployment, patching, compliance and device health monitoring.
• Manage endpoint security solutions and ensure appropriate security policies, updates, monitoring and remediation are applied to company devices.
• Manage firewall and VPN configuration, security policies, firmware/upgrades, monitoring and periodic rule reviews in accordance with business and security requirements.
• Maintain and improve authentication and access-control mechanisms, including knowledge of MFA, identity management, role-based access and secure remote access.
• Support and manage ERP and other business-critical applications, including user access, vendor coordination, issue resolution, system availability and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for IT automation and process improvement to reduce manual work, improve operational efficiency and strengthen security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 4-6years of experience in IT management or senior IT technical roles, with proven leadership of IT teams
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, databases and cloud computing solutions
• Experience with IT security protocols, data protection compliance and risk management
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to deliver complex IT initiatives on time and within budget
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Problem-solving ability and resourcefulness in addressing technical challenges and system outages
• Knowledge of industry-standard IT management tools and technologies
• Relevant IT certifications (such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft certifications) are advantageous
• Experience in the mobility, transportation or engineering sectors is preferred but not essential

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month

• Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
