SAVE TEAM / TELEMARKETING TEAM – ASTRO MALAYSIA
Location: Astro Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur
Employment Type: Full-time
Intake: October / November 2026
Vacancies: 20 positions
We are currently looking for motivated and confident individuals to join Astro Malaysia.
Candidates may choose between two available teams based on their preference and suitability. You are not required to handle both teams.
1. Save Team – Customer Retention
The Save Team focuses on customer retention and does not involve cold calling.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from existing Astro customers who wish to terminate their services
- Understand the customer's reason for cancellation
- Offer suitable solutions such as rebates, promotions or package downgrades
- Assist in retaining customers and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Provide clear and professional assistance to customers
Suitable for candidates who prefer Customer Service / Retention rather than sales.
2. Telemarketing / Sales Team
The Telemarketing Team focuses on outbound calls to existing Astro customers.
Responsibilities:
- Contact existing Astro customers via outbound calls
- Introduce and explain Astro packages, promotions and products
- Recommend suitable packages based on customer needs
- Follow up with customers when required
- Achieve individual sales and performance targets
Suitable for candidates who enjoy sales, communication and earning commission based on performance.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 2 Saturdays per month (according to schedule)
- Sunday: Off
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: RM1,900
- Commission: RM800 – RM3,500 (based on performance)
- Attendance Allowance: RM200
- Structured training provided
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Minimum SPM qualification
- Age 20 years and above
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English
- Customer service, telemarketing or sales experience is an advantage
- Positive attitude, disciplined and committed
- Willing to work at Astro Bukit Jalil
