Tazeen Restaurant is looking for a friendly, responsible, and customer-oriented Cashier to join our pre-opening team at Kulim Avenue, Kedah, specializing in Northern Indian Mughlai & Arabic cuisine. We are seeking individuals who are organized, attentive, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer payments, managing POS transactions, and ensuring smooth front counter operations while providing a positive dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer payments accurately using POS system
  • Process cash, card, QR, and online payment transactions efficiently
  • Issue receipts and maintain accurate daily sales records
  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding menu items and orders
  • Ensure cashier counter area is clean, organized, and presentable
  • Coordinate with service and kitchen team to ensure smooth order flow
  • Assist in opening and closing cashier procedures
  • Report any payment discrepancies or operational issues to management
  • Support management during pre-opening setup and operational preparations

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months & above of experience in cashiering, retail, or F&B industry is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude and customer service mindset
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Able to travel to or relocate to Kulim, Kedah
