Job Summary:

The Research Executive plays a critical role in providing data-driven insights that inform decision making within SALIHIN. This role is responsible for conducting academic, market, industry, and company-specific research, gathering intelligence, and analyzing data to support strategic planning and business growth.

Key Accountabilities:

Research and Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive research on markets, competitors, industry trends, and customer insights.
• Analyze market intelligence reports, financial data, and emerging business opportunities.
• Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns and derive actionable insights.
• Prepare detailed research reports, summaries, and presentations for decision-makers.
• Maintain and manage research databases and subscriptions.
• Gather relevant data, statistics, case studies, and industry benchmarks to support key business discussions.
• Ensure accuracy and credibility of research materials presented.
• Creating relevant reports and presentations based on research finding.
• Monitor regulatory changes, economic factors, and industry innovations impacting the business.
• Provide research-based insights for internal strategic discussions and decision-making.
• Assist in research for presentations, speeches, and reports for partners and directors.
• Assist individuals in senior management positions at SALIHIN (as assigned) with academic research and studies, particularly at the doctoral level.
• Produce articles and journals for academic and commercial purposes, including publications in peer-reviewed or industry journals.
• Assist in writing and editing books, speeches, news releases, and other publication materials aligned with the firm’s communication strategy and intellectual positioning.

Data Management

• Source data from internal systems, public data sources, third party reports, and primary research.
• Ensure proper documentation and archiving of research materials.
• Develop concise and visually appealing reports, summaries, and executive briefs.
• Develop and maintain a structured repository for research outputs.
• Ensure timely delivery of research materials for key meetings and presentations.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate closely with internal departments including strategy, marketing, and operations to gather research needs.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Support in developing competitive analysis and benchmarking reports.
• Liaise with external research firms, data providers, and industry experts when necessary.
• Collaborate with academic institutions, researchers, and editorial boards as part of SALIHIN’s knowledge-sharing and academic outreach efforts.

• Maintain high quality working relationships with employees that contribute to creating a productive and happy working environment.
• Participate in training and other learning activities as required.
• Attend and participate in relevant meetings and SALIHIN’s activities.
• Be committed to developing a full understanding of SALIHIN’s areas of practice, culture, and policies and procedures as laid out in the employee handbook.
• Maintain a positive, professional, fair, and consistent working environment for all.
• Assist our social media content creation and upload and other corporate communication tasks. Other responsibilities as and when required.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,300.00 per month
