The Exam, Student Records & Registry Unit, within Academic Services, is responsible for the end-to-end administration of examination. The Senior Executive reports to the Manager, in consultation with the Head of Academic Services.

The incumbent will provide administrative services to support the examination activities from the point of preparing the examination papers to releasing examination results. The incumbent is expected to provide supervisory to the team members, develop new recruits and lead process improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate all written examinations for undergraduate and taught postgraduate degree programmes, including In-Course Assessments (ICA), Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE).
• Assist in the preparation of question papers and sample/model answers.
• Prepare and publish timetables for examination and other relevant activities.
• Prepare and publish timetables for invigilation duties.
• Administer the hiring of external examiners, and the submission of reports from the external examiners.
• Prepare the necessary documents/reports and coordinate the Examination Board Meetings.
• Manage the collation, printing, ordering and packing of examination papers.
• Issue and receive examination papers and answer scripts for examinations.
• Attend to and resolve any issues during examinations.
• Ensure all examination records are accurately recorded and securely kept.
• Ensure all examination processes are in accordance with the University policies, and rules and regulations.
• Responsible for leading and managing the examination unit and its staff. This includes setting clear goals and objectives, providing direction and guidance, and ensuring that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
• Responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan for the examination unit. This plan should outline the unit's long-term goals, priorities, and strategies for achieving them.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to examination processes, security, and quality assurance.
• Responsible for overseeing the integration of new technologies, including computer-based testing platforms and data analytics tools.
• Prepare regular reports and present findings to senior leadership.
• Recruiting, training, mentoring, and evaluating staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
• Encouraging innovation and finding ways to enhance examination processes, reduce costs, and improve outcomes is an ongoing responsibility.

Pay: RM3,700.00 - RM7,000.00 per hour
