Full job description

We are looking for qualified and committed Substitute Teachers to join our school, Abedeen International School on a short-term contract basis.

September 2026 Intake | 3–4 Months Contract

Vacancies:

  • Science & Global Perspectives Teacher – Secondary
  • Islamic Studies Teacher – Primary
  • English Teacher – Primary

Contract Details:

  • Contract Duration: 3–4 months only
  • Starting Date: September 2026
  • Salary: RM2,500 – RM2,700 per month, depending on qualification and experience

Requirements:

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as:
  • Science / Science Education / related field
  • Islamic Studies / Islamic Education / related field
  • English Language / TESL / Education / related field
  • Teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Previous teaching experience is highly preferred.
  • Good classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Able to work effectively with primary or secondary students.
  • Responsible, adaptable, and able to commit for the full 3–4 month contract period.
  • Must be available to join in September 2026.
