Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in laboratory work, scientific research, and quality control.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques, chemical handling, and laboratory safety practices.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to follow laboratory procedures accurately.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Minimum internship duration of 3 months is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting laboratory testing, sample preparation, and experimental procedures.
• Support laboratory analysis, data collection, and documentation of test results.
• Prepare reagents, chemicals, and laboratory equipment for daily operations.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
• Assist in calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Record, organize, and maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
• Assist in quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and research & development (R&D) activities where applicable.
• Work closely with laboratory personnel and other departments to support daily laboratory operations.
• Perform other ad hoc duties and assignments as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM1,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
