We're looking to hire a highly motivated and eager to learn individual to join our backend development internship programme.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a web development intern. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated student interested in pursuing a career in web development and is excited to work with our in-house development team. You will be working with our back-end and front-end web developers building custom websites and applications, using .NET, .NET Core, PHP, etc for some of the best-known brands. This internship is located at our offices in Kuala Lumpur and you must be able to work on-site or hybrid arrangement. This internship is a full-time based opportunity. This is a paid internship.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will be a self-starter, problem-solver, and creative thinker able to adapt to current workflows and best practices. You will be aligned to the company’s goals and objectives and be eager to learn from the vast experience on offer. You will show the initiative to get things done and be a team player.

You will need to have:

• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Basic C# or Java skills
• Basic understanding on how to work with databases
• GIT / Version Control
• Experience working with the web
• REST APIs

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Basic backend web development experience with .NET Core or any other frameworks such as (Laravel, Springboot, Express etc). Collaborating using source control tools such as Github.

BONUS EXPERIENCE: knowledge in working with content management systems (CMS)s like Umbraco or Wordpress (with custom REST APIs).
