Full job description

Marq Academy is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our Marketing team.

Internship Details:

  • Location: Skudai, Johor Bahru
  • Start Date: October / November / December 2026
  • Duration: 3–5 months
  • Working Days: Monday–Friday & Alternate Saturday
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Create and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & Xiaohongshu
  • Assist with social media planning, filming, photography, editing and publishing
  • Write engaging captions and prepare social media graphics
  • Assist in promoting courses, events, workshops and academy activities
  • Research social media trends and contribute creative content ideas
  • Monitor social media engagement and performance
  • Support the Marketing team in branding and digital marketing activities

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree student in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Creative Multimedia, Film, Media or related fields
  • Proficient in Mandarin Chinese
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Familiar with social media platforms and current trends
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or similar software
  • Creative, organized and willing to learn
