Onigiri Sales Promoter – Part-Time / Full-Time | Hakko Labo

Location: Sunway 163 Mall, Mont Kiara
Part-Time: From RM15 per hour

We are looking for friendly, energetic Sales Promoters to introduce our handmade Japanese onigiri and onigiri sandwiches to customers at Sunway 163 Mall, Mont Kiara.

If you enjoy talking to people, recommending delicious food and making customers feel welcome, we would love to meet you!

Part-time and full-time positions are available. Students, fresh graduates and applicants without experience are welcome to apply.

Your Responsibilities

  • Approach and welcome customers in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Introduce our onigiri, explain the fillings and recommend products.
  • Share what makes Hakko Labo special, including our house-made Japanese fermented seasonings.
  • Encourage purchases through helpful recommendations.
  • Handle payments and pack orders neatly.
  • Replenish displays and monitor product availability.
  • Keep the kiosk clean, attractive and organised.
  • Follow food hygiene and storage procedures.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Friendly, outgoing and comfortable speaking with customers.
  • Enthusiastic about promoting food and providing good service.
  • Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  • Able to commute reliably to Sunway 163 Mall, Mont Kiara.
  • Previous experience in sales, promotions, retail or F&B is an advantage.
  • Mandarin or Japanese language skills are an advantage.

Pay & Working Hours

Part-Time

  • From RM15 per hour.
  • Shifts arranged based on your availability and business needs.

Full-Time

  • From RM3,000 per month.
  • Rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

The kiosk operates from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. These are outlet operating hours; individual working hours follow the assigned shift.

Final pay and working arrangements will be discussed during the interview.

Training Provided

We provide training in product knowledge, customer service, sales and food hygiene. No previous knowledge of Japanese food is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
