About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Network Engineer – Japanese Speaking to join our team. This role is ideal for early-career IT professionals with a background in networking or IT support who are looking to build their career in the networking field.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and gain hands-on exposure to Enterprise Networking, Service Provider Networking, Network Security, Routing & Switching, and Collaboration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving network incidents for Japanese-speaking customers.
• Document technical issues and resolutions in English and Japanese.
• Follow client and company security, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams and internal stakeholders.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in networking or related IT support roles such as IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, or Network Support.
• Near-native Japanese proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• JLPT N1/N2 is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interest in developing a career in IT Networking.
• Curious, motivated, and willing to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
