Job Summary:

The Data Entry Clerk (Finance) is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining financial records and data within the company's accounting and finance systems. This role ensures that all financial information is recorded correctly and in a timely manner to support daily finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter financial data such as invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries into the accounting system.
  • Verify the accuracy of financial documents before data entry.
  • Maintain and update financial records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Assist in matching invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents.
  • Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and organize financial documents for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Generate basic reports as required by the Finance team.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation and data verification exercises.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial information.
  • Support the Finance Department with administrative tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Good numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
