Full job description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Branch Manager to support the daily operations of our branch. This role involves overseeing branch activities, ensuring operational compliance, driving sales performance, leading a team, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day branch operations, including cash handling, deposits, and adherence to security procedures.
  • Verify transactions, perform reconciliations, and conduct stock checks for gold and diamond items.
  • Support branch sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, and monitor branch performance to achieve business targets.
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate branch staff while monitoring performance and providing on-the-job training.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by building strong customer relationships and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate branch documentation.

Requirements

  • SPM/O-Level with 3–4 years of experience in retail, financial services, or Islamic pawn broking; OR
  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with relevant supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience in gold and diamond valuation or branch operations is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
