Responsibilities:

• Review and edit manuscripts to ensure alignment with house style guidelines.
• Correct grammatical, typographical, and factual errors while providing constructive feedback to improve clarity and quality.
• Collaborate closely with writers and typesetters throughout the editing and publishing process.
• Work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight publishing deadlines.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, Arabic Language, Arabic Education, Syariah, Usuluddin or a related field.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Arabic, both written and spoken, depending on the subject applied for.
• Strong knowledge of Pendidikan Islam and/or Bahasa Arab at Malaysian primary and secondary school levels.
• Good command of Arabic grammar, spelling and diacritics (baris), with the ability to identify and correct language errors.
• Ability to verify the accuracy of Islamic content, including Quranic verses, Hadith and Islamic terminology, where relevant.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with the Malaysian school curriculum (KSSR/KSSM) will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Fresh graduates with excellent SPM results are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to learn and a passion for educational publishing.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
