Full job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct topographical, engineering, and construction surveys at project sites.

2. Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and project coordinates.

3. Perform setting out and verify dimensions, levels, alignments, and coordinates in accordance with approved drawings.

4. Carry out underground utility mapping and site verification prior to construction activities, where required.

5. Prepare survey data, as-built drawings, contour plans, and survey reports using AutoCAD and other survey software.

6. Verify survey measurements and calculations to ensure construction accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

7. Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors on survey-related activities.

8. Monitor survey works throughout project execution and promptly reports any discrepancies or site issues.

9. Operate, maintain, and ensure proper calibration of surveying instruments and equipment.

REQUIREMENT

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering projects.

3. Hands-on experience in topographical surveys, setting out, as-built surveys, and utility mapping is an advantage.

4. Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and surveying software.

5. Skilled in operating Total Station, GNSS/GPS, Auto Level, and other surveying instruments.

6. Good understanding of engineering drawings, construction practices, and survey principles.

7. Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

8. Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.

9. Willing to travel and work at project sites as required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
