Landscape jobs in Selangor

Job Scope:

• Overall overseeing, managing, coordinating and monitoring landscape maintenance activities at sites.
• Supervise site workers on their daily planting and maintenance works.
• To inspect outdoor landscape areas and indoor potted or planter plants regularly to identify landscape maintenance needs and implement solutions immediately.
• To plan well and schedule mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilization, soil loosening, grass cutting, weeding, watering, irrigation, pest control and upkeeping activities etc.
• To constantly perform spot-check/rounding to ensure no part of landscape areas are left unattended.
• To manage and handle complaints and to provide / propose rectification plans to clients in a timely manner.
• To provide remedy for plants and trees that are nutrient deficient, infected with diseases or infested with pests.
• To order material, tools, machinery and equipment required by the sites, and to do preventive maintenance on small and large machinery, equipment, lorry, brush cutter, trimmer and blowers etc. in order to maintain functioning and minimize the downtime.
• To ensure the workers are regularly trained on best practices and how to use equipment before carrying out the assigned jobs in order to ensure safety and minimize the machines breakdown.
• To ensure all works carried out by the workers as set out in their job description are completed within the deadline and with appropriate and safety environment standards.
• To keep track of the workers daily attendance and reconcile with client’s attendance records. To ensure all workers are using the company’s attendance system.
• To source for workers replacement should the worker resign or have shortage of workers due to other matters.
• To attend and participate in meetings required by the clients or administrative department.
• To prepare work schedule/program, monthly reporting and other reporting required by the clients. To track working progress.
• To propose and prepare landscape design and upgrading proposals to clients should be required.
• To communicate with business development and clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
• To maintain and update inventory of landscape, materials, tools, machinery and equipment.

Working Location: Klang Valley areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Horticulture/Agriculture/Forestry or other related field
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field
• Able to work under pressure and independently
• Possess high level of integrity and discipline
• Hardworking, results-driven and a team player
• Willing to work at various location (depending on project site)
• Willing to work 5.5 days a week

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
