Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials for assigned MPU (Mata Pelajaran Umum) subjects.
• Prepare and deliver engaging teaching materials in accordance with the approved course syllabus and learning outcomes.
• Prepare, administer, and assess assignments, quizzes, presentations, examinations, and other student assessments.
• Provide clear guidance, academic support, and constructive feedback to students.
• Monitor students’ attendance, participation, academic performance, and overall progress.
• Ensure assessment marks and required academic records are completed accurately and submitted within the stipulated deadlines.
• Maintain proper documentation related to teaching, assessment, attendance, and student performance.
• Use appropriate teaching methods to encourage student participation, critical thinking, communication, and understanding of MPU subjects.
• Comply with the institution’s academic policies, teaching requirements, SOPs, and quality assurance standards.
• Attend academic meetings, briefings, training, or programme activities when required.

Requirements

• Minimum Master’s Degree in a relevant field or qualification appropriate to the MPU subject to be taught.
• Relevant academic background that meets the requirements of the assigned MPU course.
• Previous teaching or lecturing experience at a college or university is an added advantage.
• Strong presentation, classroom management, and communication skills.
• Able to engage and manage students effectively in both physical and/or online classes.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
• Responsible, committed, well-organized, and able to meet academic deadlines.
• Comfortable using online learning platforms, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other teaching technologies.

Able to work independently while maintaining good coordination with the academic team.

Pay: RM80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Shah Alam (Petaling)
