Mandatory Requirement

  • Valid Certificate of Registration: Must be registered with the Medical Assistants Board (Lembaga Pembantu Perubatan) under the Medical Assistants (Registration) Act 1977.
  • Active Annual Practising Certificate (APC): Must possess a valid and current APC for the year 2026. Candidates without a current APC will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist doctors and nurses during consultations, treatments, minor procedures, and vaccinations.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs, and explain procedures and care instructions.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks under supervision including injections, wound dressing, blood taking, and point-of-care tests.
  • Support emergency response with first aid and basic life support as directed.
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection control, clinic policies, and occupational safety standards.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, manage enquiries, and relay instructions or appointment details.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, manage appointments, and support clinic administration systems.
  • Assist in GP and occupational health services including medical check-ups, screenings, and testing.
  • Support smooth daily clinic operations and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in training, professional development, and other duties as assigned.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
