Full job description

  • Assist in filing, organizing, and maintaining patients' medical records.
  • Retrieve and prepare medical records for authorized departments and healthcare professionals.
  • Support the registration, sorting, and indexing of patient documents.
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of medical records before filing.
  • Assist with data entry and updating patient information in the hospital information system.
  • Ensure all medical records are handled in accordance with confidentiality and privacy policies.
  • Help process requests for medical reports and related documentation under supervision.
  • Assist in scanning, archiving, and maintaining electronic and physical medical records.
  • Support record tracking to ensure timely retrieval and return of patient files.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, document preparation, and filing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medical records storage area.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Medical Records Supervisor or Department Head.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Medical Records, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Required to undergo a minimum 6-month internship period.
  • Proficient in Malay and English.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in documentation.

Pay: RM800.00 per month

Work Location: In person
