Job Responsibility

• Organize and maintain a comprehensive filing system for patient medical records, including both physical and electronic health records (EHR).
• Accurately input patient data, clinical findings, and diagnostic codes into the hospital information system.
• Audit medical records for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all reports, signatures, and legal documents are present and correctly filed.
• Strictly adhere to Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) guidelines and hospital policies regarding the release of information and patient privacy.
• Process requests for medical reports, insurance claims, and legal inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage the retrieval and storage of inactive files and oversee the secure disposal of records in accordance with retention schedules.
• Compile statistical data and reports for hospital management and regulatory bodies as required.

Requirement

• Diploma in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in medical record management or a clerical role within a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
