About the role

Yakitori Lab Murasaki is a modern Japanese dining concept that celebrates the art of charcoal-grilled skewers. We combine traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a creative, youthful spirit. What you'll be doing

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in food prep for yakitori and side dishes
  • Grill, plate, and maintain food quality according to standards
  • Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and well-organized
  • Support the chef and follow instructions during service
  • Assist with inventory and ingredient stock rotation
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards at all times

What we're looking for

  • Able to follow shift hours (until 2am)
  • Basic English proficiency (Mandarin is a plus!)
  • SPM graduates with good attitude are welcomed to apply
  • Hardworking, disciplined, and eager to learn
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Experience in Japanese or F&B kitchen preferred, but not required (training provided!)
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Malaysian only
