Job Description :

• Responsible for ensuring that all materials, equipment, and services are procured on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and company procurement policies.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials, equipment, and services required for the successful execution of the Jack-up Rig P&A project while achieving project objectives for cost, quality, schedule, and compliance.
• Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and validate technical specifications.
• Develop procurement plans aligned with the P&A project schedule.
• Prioritize critical and long-lead items to avoid operational delays.
• Source qualified vendors for drilling materials, offshore services, marine logistics, rental equipment, and consumables.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, ITBs, and RFPs.
• Coordinate commercial bid evaluations with technical stakeholders.
• Recommend suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and technical compliance.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contract conditions.
• Achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and project requirements.
• Support preparation of Purchase Orders (POs) and service agreements.
• Issue Purchase Orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure all approvals are obtained before PO issuance.
• Monitor supplier acknowledgements and order status.
• Track supplier manufacturing and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with logistics for customs clearance, shipping, and offshore delivery.
• Ensure materials arrive before the required offshore mobilization dates.
• Maintain relationships with approved suppliers.
• Resolve supplier performance issues.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Monitor procurement expenditure against project budgets.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Maintain procurement reports and savings records.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in jack-up rig, drilling, well services, or oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of jack-up rig equipment, spare parts, and service procurement.
• Experience in handling tendering, contract management, and vendor negotiations.
• Familiar with techno-commercial evaluations and project-based procurement.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements and industry best practices.
• Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
