JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure all assigned T&L Group outlets operate efficiently according to company SOP, operational standards and business requirements.
• Act as the operational link between Management, outlet PICs and operational staff.
• Supervise, support and follow up on daily operations across assigned outlets.
• Assist in arranging manpower and provide operational coverage when an outlet experiences staff shortage, high-volume orders, events, emergencies or other operational requirements.
• Provide hands-on operational support when required, including cashier, service, barista, kitchen support, packing, delivery and outlet preparation according to operational needs.
• Support staff training, onboarding and implementation of company SOPs, service standards and operational systems.
• Conduct outlet visits and operational inspections to identify issues involving cleanliness, staff performance, stock, equipment, product quality and compliance.
• Assist Management with new outlet openings, outlet setup, equipment arrangement, stock preparation and operational readiness.
• Coordinate movement of stock, equipment, products and supplies between Central Kitchen, outlets, event locations and other company premises when required.
• Purchase or collect operational supplies and urgent items required by outlets using company-approved procedures.
• Support catering, external events and corporate orders, including delivery, setup, packing, manpower coordination and event execution.
• Monitor stock availability and communicate shortages, discrepancies or urgent requirements to Procurement and Management.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with food safety, hygiene, licensing and company operational requirements.
• Follow up on outlet issues and ensure corrective actions assigned by Management are properly executed.
• Assist Management in reviewing outlet performance, manpower utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports, outlet visit reports and other documentation required by Management.
• Travel between T&L Group outlets, Central Kitchen, suppliers, event venues and other assigned locations when required.
• Perform other reasonable operational duties assigned by the immediate superior or Management according to business requirements.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check manpower availability across assigned outlets and identify operational gaps.
• Coordinate manpower movement or provide operational support where required.
• Review outlet opening, operation and closing issues reported by outlet PICs.
• Follow up on unresolved operational matters and report significant issues to Management.
• Check urgent stock, ingredient, packaging and equipment requirements.
• Purchase, collect, deliver or transfer approved operational items when required.
• Conduct outlet visits based on operational priorities.
• Support urgent orders, catering preparation, delivery and event requirements when necessary.
• Submit a concise operational update covering:
• Outlet condition
• Manpower
• Staff performance
• Product quality
• Stock issues
• Equipment or maintenance issues
• Operational problems
• Corrective actions required

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review manpower requirements and operational coverage.
• Assist with staff roster coordination when required.
• Conduct outlet operational checks and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Review stock movement and recurring operational problems.
• Assist Management with preparation for upcoming events, promotions, large orders or outlet activities.
• Provide recommendations for operational improvements where necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 year working experience in F&B, restaurant, café, hospitality, retail operations or a related operational role is preferred.
• Practical understanding of day-to-day F&B operations.
• Comfortable performing both coordination and hands-on operational work.
• Able to work independently and respond quickly to operational requirements.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work with different departments including Operations, Kitchen, Procurement, Accounts and Management.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Comfortable driving company vehicles when authorised.
• Able to travel between outlets, suppliers, Central Kitchen and event locations.
• Able to work flexible hours when required by business operations, events, emergencies or outlet openings.
• Able to work on weekends or public holidays according to operational requirements and scheduled working arrangements.

• Understands F&B operations and is comfortable working on the ground.
• Does not expect a purely office-based role.
• Can coordinate people while also executing tasks personally when required.
• Can handle purchasing, deliveries, outlet support and event operations.
• Is dependable during urgent operational situations.
• Can identify problems, report them clearly and follow through until completion.
• Is comfortable travelling between multiple working locations.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: RM3,000.00 per month
