Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Executive in a food and beverage restaurant is responsible for ensuring that all food products and services meet safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines and the company’s internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Audits and Inspections

· Conduct regular audits of food preparation areas, storage facilities, and equipment to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

· Evaluate cleanliness and operational practices within the restaurant to identify areas for improvement.

Complaint Management

· Investigate any incidents of non-compliance or customer complaints regarding food quality or safety.

· Corrective action plans to address identified issues and prevent recurrence.

Training and Development

· Provide training and coaching to operation team on food safety standards, quality control measures, and best practices.

Pest Management

· Coordinate pest service at the store, follow up on action items, as well as providing preventive measures.

Data Monitoring and Analysis

· Monitor food safety metrics, analyze data related to food quality, and prepare reports on findings.

· Identify trends in product quality issues and develop corrective actions to address non-conformance.

Regulatory Compliance

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations, including HACCP and GMP standards.

SKU Testing & Ingredient Verification

· Conduct testing of existing SKUs for quality, safety, and specification compliance, including sensory checks, weight/portion verification, and basic microbiological/chemical sampling coordination.

· Verify new ingredients supplied by R&D: review specifications, perform incoming inspections, test for organoleptic attributes, and confirm compatibility with existing processes and recipes

Qualifications:

· A bachelor’s degree /Diploma in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field is typically required.

· 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance within the food service industry.

· Proficiency in quality management systems and data analysis tools.

· Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
