Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily IT security operations, including incident management, administrative tasks, and health checks of servers and network security controls.
  • Implement automated monitoring tools for real-time detection and response to security incidents.
  • Lead the deployment of security solutions for Information Protection (IP) and Threat Protection (TP), including SIEM, UEBA, AV, IDS/IPS, and penetration testing.
  • Integrate advanced threat intelligence platforms and machine learning algorithms to enhance threat detection and response.
  • Prepare and customize comprehensive cybersecurity reports and metrics regularly.
  • Utilize automated reporting tools and dashboards for real-time insights and analytics.
  • Participate in creating and maintaining the enterprise’s security architecture and enhancing security solutions.
  • Adopt zero-trust architecture principles and align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate incident response efforts, including minimizing impact and conducting technical and forensic investigations.
  • Develop and implement an incident response automation framework.
  • Analyze remedial measures from vulnerability assessments and audits, ensuring effective penetration testing schedules.
  • Implement continuous vulnerability scanning and automated patch management solutions.
  • Conduct regular VAPT exercises to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities (knowledge in Nessus, Nmap, Kali Linux, and LANSWEEPER required).
  • Ensure technical safeguards and assist with educational and improvement programs.
  • Develop a comprehensive security awareness training program.
  • Address system security weaknesses and collaborate with teams and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Establish a formal vulnerability disclosure program.
  • Support project teams in defining security requirements and integrating security into the DevOps pipeline (DevSecOps).
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and infrastructure standards.
  • Conduct regular security policy reviews and updates.
  • Support cyber crisis management, including war-room discussions and simulation exercises.
  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches using advanced anomaly detection systems.
  • Act as the liaison for cybersecurity with external regulators and ensure compliance with evolving requirements (versed in the Cybersecurity Act, PDPA, ISO27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Mentor and coach team members and develop a structured mentorship program.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or any other related business field.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in compliance & governance in cybersecurity.
  • Excellent knowledge in Network Security Appliances (i.e., Firewall, IPS/IDS, Switch) and Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT).
  • Good communication and presentation skills (oral and written) in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively as a team and manage multiple engagements as necessary.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision and tight deadlines

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Compliance & Governance in Cybersecurity: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Network Security Appliance: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT).: 4 years (Preferred)
