Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a full set of accounts for assigned client companies
  • Prepare and post journal entries, and manage general ledger and sub-ledgers
  • Perform monthly and year-end closings, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Conduct bank, receivable, payable, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Generate monthly management reports, including trial balances and schedules
  • Ensure accounting records are accurate, consistent, and well-documented
  • Liaise with teams in Hong Kong and the UK to clarify transactions and resolve issues

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA / ACCA qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years (preferably 5 years or above) of hands-on bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA or outsourced service environment
  • Proficiency in cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, including HKFRS / IFRS and UK GAAP / FRS 102
  • Effective communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) as need to deal with clients from Hong Kong and China.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with remote supervision

Pay: RM30.00 per hour
