Full job description

· Responsible for managing product lifecycle including from conceptual stages to product launch.

· Work with suppliers on component quality, cost, and delivery of parts.

· Work with suppliers for outsourced parts to meet product performance.

· Lead in the CAD product drawings to support engineering projects.

· Assist in the 2D drawing creation update including preparing concepts and detailed sketches.

· Coordinate the development of prototype and test method for the development cycle including data collection, and data analysis and finalized the data for peer review.

· Assist in the development of Technical Documentation by the EU MDR regulation and applicable local regulations.

· Participate and assist in risk management activities, liaise with production & quality for the DFMEA & PFMEA.

· Support for ad-hoc tasks when necessary / carry out other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in any related field of Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic & Electrical) / Applied Science or equivalent.

· At least 1 of working experience in the medical device industry is an added advantage.

Required Qualifications:

· Proficient with 3D CAD modelling software such as SolidWorks and 2D Technical Drawing.

· Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, Design Control and Change Control.

· Knowledge of design validation, test method and process validation.

· Must have availability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams or different levels of people.

· Demonstrate high commitment and willingness to take responsibility.

· Candidates with working experience in Research & Development, NPI, project management and manufacturing are an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
