Part-Time Housekeeping Attendant

Location: Grand Swiss-Belhotel Melaka
Job Type: Part-Time
Department: Housekeeping Department

Job Summary

We are looking for dedicated and detail oriented Part-Time Housekeeping Attendants to maintain the cleanliness, comfort and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas. The successful candidate will ensure hotel standards are consistently met while providing a pleasant experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas according to hotel standards.
  • Make beds, change linens and replenish guest supplies and amenities.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust assigned areas.
  • Ensure all rooms are properly prepared for arriving guests.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages or lost and found items to the supervisor.
  • Handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping pantries and storage areas.
  • Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping related inquiries.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage but not required.
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
  • Good attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
