Software Developer (Oracle APEX)

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design and Build Applications: Develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop System Modules: Design and implement application components that align with business processes and system architecture.
• Write Quality Code: Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Ensure System Quality: Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Support Deployment and Maintenance: Assist with system deployment, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.
• Stay Current with Technology: Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements where applicable.

What We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in software design, development, testing, and deployment.
• ERP System Experience: Experience working with ERP systems, including customization, integration, or implementation.
• Oracle APEX Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX is an added advantage.
• Database & SQL Skills: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and strong SQL knowledge.
• SDLC & Version Control: Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and version control tools.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail in resolving technical challenges.
• Linux & Deployment Skills: Experience in setting up and performing deployments in a Linux environment.
• Communication & Teamwork: Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Reporting Tools (Preferred): Familiarity with Jasper Reports for reporting and data visualization.
• Citizenship: Has to be Malaysian
